Worldbuilding: draft II

The internal cylinders support a large quantity of the civilian populace. The cylinders are close enough to the sunrod to provide adequate light for most tasks without risking harm to the civilians within. Due to the nonexistent gravity, cables allow for transit between and through the cylinders.
